On 21 June PwC will hold its seminar "Tax disputes: Key issues of international and Russian practice ". The seminar will be held from 9:30 to 13:00. The registration will begin at 9:00.
New developments have been taking shape in the area of tax litigation: a change in the scope of issues raised by the tax authorities based on tax audit findings, a shift towards pre-trial dispute resolution meaning only the most complex cases go to court, and the Russian Supreme Arbitrazh Court is handling top priority issues for the business community ever more frequently.
Meanwhile, controversies “involving an offshore element” are intensifying, as the tax authorities are increasing their scrutiny over this issue. More and more often, Russia’s tax authorities are collaborating with tax administrations in other jurisdictions, and increasingly are focusing their attention on aspects of cooperation between Russian and offshore companies. Russia’s courts are more interested than ever in worldwide experience.
How can Russia benefit from the global experience of tax dispute resolution? How will tax dispute administrative and court practice evolve in Russia? We will discuss these and other topics at the seminar on Tax disputes: Key issues of international and Russian practice.
The seminar is free of charge, will be held in Russian and in English with simultaneous translation available . To register, please fill out the form below till 20 June.
