Experience

Yana has been working in the legal consulting practice more than
15 years and specialises in Russian civil and corporate law, natural resources, competition law, tax and international private law.

She has extensive experience consulting leading Russian and foreign oil & gas and energy companies in corporate governance, corporate restructuring, insolvency, oil, gas and natural resources law (including concessions and PSA matters), infrastructure law, stock option plans and tax litigation.

Yana is a highly regarded expert in legal consulting for oil & gas and mining companies. In 2007 and 2008, Yana was recommended by leading law firms in the Legal 500 rating for the energy and natural resources sector. In 2011, Yana was listed among the best CIS lawyers for insolvency and corporate restructuring in the Who’s Who Legal rating.

Education

Yana graduated from the Moscow State Oil and Gas University in 1996 with a Master’s in Law and the Russian State Tax Academy in 2001 with a Master’s in Economics. She earned a PhD in law in 2003 from the Russian Government Institute for Legislation and Comparative Law.
