Dmitry Kovalev appointed partner at PwC Russia

Открыть страницу: на русском языке Moscow – July 1, 2013 – As a partner, Dmitry will focus on advisory services in debt raising, project finance, infrastructure and PPP projects.

Born in 1980 in St Petersburg, Dmitry graduated with honours in 2002 from St Petersburg State University with a degree in Global Economics. In 2000, he completed training at the Trondheim Business School in Norway.

Dmitry started his career in 1999 as an economist with АО Vyborg Bank. In 2001, he was employed by ОАО Petroenergobank as a treasury specialist, and then from 2002 to 2004 he worked as an expert with the Financial Liabilities Restructuring Department of AKB National Reserve Bank. In 2004 Dmitry was appointed chief expert in the Asset Management Department of National Reserve Corporation; in 2005, he became deputy head of NRC's Energy Asset Management Department. In 2005 he entered the Big Four, joining Ernst & Young, first as a senior consultant in the firm's advisory practice, then from 2006 as a manager.

Dmitry joined PwC in 2007, first as a manager with the Advisory practice, then as a senior manager in Transaction Services, and from 2010 as a director. In 2011-2012 Dmitry was also involved in various projects in China, India, Malaysia, South Africa and Panama as part of the New York office of PwC US.

Dmitry is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
