The Global Tax Monitor recognises PricewaterhouseCoopers as the leading firm in Russia for advising on difficult and complex tax issues, by reputation, with a strong lead over the competition.

These results are based on the year-ending Q2 2009 figures, with a sample size of 60 primary buyers of tax advice in Russia.

Survey background
Launched in 2000, the Global Tax Monitor (GTM) is a multi-client independent survey conducted by research agency TNS, that examines the competitive position of the top firms in the tax advisory market—globally, regionally, nationally and on an industry basis. It provides a comprehensive measure of firm reputation, client service and brand health, gained currently from just over 3,000 telephone interviews annually with key decision makers (CFOs and Tax Directors) in 31 key markets.

PricewaterhouseCoopers Russia was recognised as “Transfer Pricing Firm of the Year”

International Tax Review award On May 18, 2010 PricewaterhouseCoopers Russia received for the fourth time the award 'Russian Transfer Pricing Firm of the Year' from International Tax Review magazine.

International Tax Review presented 61 national and pan-European tax awards in London, celebrating the most innovative and complex work in the areas of general tax consulting, transfer pricing, indirect taxation, tax litigations, transactional tax advice and corporate taxation done in Europe between February 2009 and February 2010.

A number of other European awards confirms our leadership in transfer pricing consulting: PricewaterhouseCoopers retained its title as 'European Transfer Pricing Firm of the Year' and won national transfer pricing awards in seven countries and regions, including Austria, Baltic States, Ireland, Portugal, Russia, Switzerland and the UK. Besides, PricewaterhouseCoopers in Germany and Poland was awarded with the honourable title of "National Tax Firm of the Year".

PwC won a total of nine national awards — more than any other Big-4 firm in Europe.

The panel of International Tax Review judges selected the winners following a close review of the submissions from the firms, background research and interviews with the tax directors of major European companies.
