Why attend?

The world economy is recovering and with it the need by Russian companies to adapt their human resource management quickly. HR professionals will need to be ready to support their company leadership in meeting this challenge successfully. The workshop is timed to coincide with this need and thus support senior HR professionals to increase their strategic role in supporting their companies business goals.
The HRM workshop is organised by PwC Russia and the Nottingham Business School in a repeat of the first successful programme held in Russia between 2006 and 2008. The workshop’s main aim is to provide you with the opportunity to understand current HR international practices, and also how to approach HRM in a more strategic way.

Workshop objectives:

1. To share and develop an understanding of how effective HR management can have a positive impact on Organisational Performance
2. To explore ways of increasing the credibility of the HR function in organisations in Russia
3. To examine current Russian and global HRM practices and their impact on the CIS region

Delivery content will include relevant HRM theory, examples of leading practices and extensive sharing of HRM professionals experience.

• Managing “Talent” in turbulent times
• Developing an “Employer of Choice” status
• Relationships with line managers and “professionalising” the function
• Managing employee performance
• Identifying key issues for HR professionals in Russia and CIS

HR Directors and Senior HR managers, Learning & Development managers, professionals in leading and strategic positions in the HRM and the L&D areas.

The workshop will be led by Dave Doughty Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development from the Nottingham Business School and PwC Russia HRM experts.
