Head of employment law practice

Alexei Dingin is a Head of employment law practice at PwC Legal and focuses on employment law, as well as remuneration of top managers and the development of long-term incentive plans.

Alexei has been with PwC Legal for over ten years. During this time, he has gained extensive experience advising PwC clients, including international clients, on various employment law issues, including:

  • terminating employment of top managers and other employees, including participating in negotiations with employees on the terms and conditions of their dismissal;
  • representing clients in lawsuits filed by employees;
  • staff redundancy (including mass dismissal) and disciplinary dismissals;
  • transferring personnel as part of a business reorganisation;
  • negotiations with trade unions and dealing with issues regarding social partnership;
  • developing and assisting in the implementation of various internal regulations, including a Code of Ethics.

Alexei has also advised clients on the legal structure of long-term executive incentive plans, i.e. for the purposes of share listings on Russian and international stock exchanges, developing individual option agreements, and agreements on severance payments upon termination of employment agreements (so-called “golden parachutes”).

He has played an active role in various projects to provide PwC clients with legal services regarding corporate governance, such as elaborating provisions for committees under the boards of directors of major Russian companies.

He has been recommended by The Legal 500.
