Effective from 1 January 2017, the All-Russia Classifier of Types of Economic Activity (OKVED) OK 029-2001 (OKVED Edition 1) (“OKVED 1”) is abrogated.
Currently, the codes of economic activity to be specified in relevant forms for the purpose of the state registration of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs shall correspond to the All-Russia Classifier of Types of Economic Activity (OKVED 2) OK 029-2014 (KDES Edition 2) (“OKVED 2”).
Please note that specifying codes of economic activity in accordance with OKVED 1 in registration forms may result in the state registration refusal.
Data on the types of the economic activity of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs recorded in the relevant state registers will be brought into compliance with OKVED 2 by the Russian Federal Tax Service. Legal entities and individual entrepreneurs do not have to apply to the tax authorities to register the respective amendments in the registers.
Any document containing data on the types of economic activities to be filed with the authorities shall contain the relevant updated data corresponding to data on the types of economic activities recorded in the registers.
