Join us in selecting the best books in medicine and health for the 2021 Healthy Sense Award

We are pleased to announce the start of public voting for the 2021 Healthy Sense Award. You can learn about the nominees and vote for your favourite book at

This year, the third year of the competition, our Expert Council, consisting of representatives of the medical community, mass media and publishers, reviewed 172 applications. The panel reviewed whether each application met the award criteria and objectives. The books that successfully passed through the Expert Council’s review are now presented for a public online voting.

The goal of the Healthy Sense Award is to support the medical profession, promote medical knowledge and healthy lifestyles, and recognise authors writing about medicine and health.

Anyone who wishes to vote for the best book should sign up through the official website. Following the voting, the three top books will be selected in each of the following four categories:

  • Recipe for Health: Popular books for mass audience about health and healthy lifestyle based on personal or professional experience;
  • Step Forward: Books about medical science and discoveries;
  • Aesculapius: Memoirs and biographies of doctors;
  • The Best Idea for a Book: For professionals and bloggers who promote healthy lifestyles and discuss important ideas that could be developed into a book. The author of the best idea will be invited to publish their book with the BOMBORA publishing house.

The public voting for the Healthy Sense Award will start on 19 July on the Crowdspace platform and run until 20 September. Everyone can participate in determining which books will be shortlisted at
